We recommend our Deluxe Lawn Care Program to the Homeowner who prefers an expanded level of service. The Lawn Pro Deluxe Program includes all the fertilizers, insect controls and weed controls of our Regular Maintenance Program plus all of the following:
This program is designed to minimize lawn problems. By actually being on the lawn every three weeks (on the average), it will be much easier to control problems before they get out of hand. Also, we will evaluate the mowing and watering practices more frequently, and make recommendations when necessary.
We are offering our Biorational Lawn Care Program which provides an alternative to our regular Maintenance Program. The biorational approach combines organic fertilizers with minimum pesticide use plus frequent checkups. The program includes five applications plus five lawn checkups. (The Zoysia program consists of four services plus four checkups.) Our objective is to build a beautiful lawn by improving the soil, by encouraging the natural turfgrass biological processes, and by reducing the barriers to healthy growth. The success of the program depends on the turf being healthy enough to discourage or at least to tolerate some pests. It is essential that you keep an eye on the lawn and let us know if anything unusual occurs. We are partners in this endeavor!
We will make one application of pre-emergent crabgrass control in the Spring. A heavy application of natural organic fertilizer will be included on each of the first four services. The fifth service (applied only to non-Zoysia lawns) will consist primarily of Winterizer fertilizer. Broadleaf weed control will be applied, only as needed, throughout the season. The same procedure will apply to surface feeding turf insects. They will be treated only if they are present in damaging numbers. This will reduce significantly the total amount of pesticides applied during the year.
Subsurface insects (White Grubs or Billbug Larvae) remain a special problem and should be treated only if necessary. There will be a charge for this optional application, if it is performed.
